Funkie Junkie 12 Tags of Christmas Challenge Tag #8

WEEK 8 of The Funkie Junkie TWELVE Tags of Christmas!.  Please check out Funkie Junkie's  instructions, requirements, and guidelines for the challenge HERE.  Briefly, each week, the Funkie Junkie will provide an inspirational tag from which you take some element and incorporate it into your own tag.. The challenge is sponsored by The Funkie Junkie Boutique.

WEEK 8 tag was inspired by sample tag seen HERE.  I was very intrigued by the technique described by FJ as introduced by Tammy Tuttorow.  This was all new for me, but I was enticed to try it.  I loved how it turned out.  I also liked FJ's title block (or plaque) on her tag which was tied to the side with string  I cut out the plaques on craft CS using my Cricut.  I lightly stamped the background of the plaques using Vintage Photo DI and then embossed the sentiment using Black Sparkly EP. I attached the large plaque to the tag using twine to the side.  I added a little sparkle with tinsel.   I embossed large snowflakes in silver.  I made the roses using a Sizzix die called Flowers 3D.  The flowers were glittered and popped up on the snow flakes.  Silvery seam binding was Mod Podged, scrunched, and tied to the top.

Be sure to check out all of the wonderful supplies available at The Funkie Junkie Boutique.
