COUNTRY VIEW CRAFTS CHALLENGES JANUARY 2014

This is an entry to Country View Craft's January challenge entitled "Monochromatic" (intriguing!).  The current challenge site may be seen HERE.  For wonderful inspiration and creative ideas, visit Country View Craft's blog spot HERE,

I began my project by cutting a tag from white CS and painting the entire tag with Tim Holtz Antique Linen DP.  The flourishes were then stamped with TH Pumice Stone DI using a second generation technique and a luscious flourish stamp by Anna Griffin.  The inspiration for my tag came from a beautiful print of a Winter's Child dressed in the Warmth. of Winter.  The print is from Ephemera's Vintage Garden blogspot. (It was actually a freebie!)  I placed her on the tag and surrounded her with roses cut out with Sizzix Flowers 3D die and white CS.  Each rose was also painted with Antique Linen DP and edged with Pumice Stone DI.  The sentiment, "Warm Wishes for the New Year" was computer generated and placed onto an Antique Linen painted banner.

Thank you, Country View Crafts, for the Monochromatic challenge!  Enjoyed it!
