A beautiful challenge is going on at Frilly and Funky blogspot. It is called The Warmth of Winter. Just the name of the challenge gets my juices flowing as I envision icy whites and furry hats and scarves. The rules of the challenge may be read HERE. There is a chance to win a $25 shopping spree at the famous Funkie Junkie Boutique.
I started my project by cutting a tag out of white CS and painting the entire tag with TH Vintage Linen DP. After drying completely, I stamped luscious flourishes using TH Pumice Stone DI and an Anna Griffin stamp. I also added a bit of script stamp. The inspiration for my Warmth of Winter was a beautiful print of a winter child dressed in the Warmth of Winter. I placed her on the tag and surrounded her with paper roses cut from Sizzix die Flowers 3D and painted with Vintage Linen DP. The sentiment "Warm Wishes For the New Year" was computer generator and placed onto a Vintage Linen painted banner.
Thank you, Frilly and Funky, for this heartwarming challenge.
